KIDMOB WRAPS UP FRIENDSHIP MONTH

August 01, 2013

This July, KIDmob kicked off an annual outreach campaign called Friendship Month, geared towards developing a stronger local design education network. We sought out school programs, hackerspaces, educators, thinkers, administrators, and innovators in order to directly engage the discussion of design in K12 education with like-minded folks outside of our organization. Through this effort, we developed new collaborations, shared curriculum insights, garnered support, and made friends!

Some highlights of the month: Touring the Stanford d.school with City X Project Director, Libby Falck, hanging out with Kim Saxe at Nueva School's incredible campus, and visiting Camp Galileo in action with Head of Curriculum Pamela Brisk. Shoutouts to everyone that so generously gave us their time this month. It was an incredible, inspiring, and informative experience, thank you!
